Useful in preparing contrast finishes and texturing, much coarser than a brushed satin finish. Also used for fast grinding and metal removal, these very hard wheels are made of silicone carbide in a resinoid bond. Heatless Wheels break down quickly, constantly exposing new grit to produce a uniform, coarse, brushed-look finish with tiny highlights.
